Former Tottenham Hotspur fan favourite Sandro has been discussing his time at the club and how he♊ regretted how his time at the club came to an end.
The 31-year-old was brought to England by Harry Redknapp and thrived at the club under both the Englishman and his replacement Andre Villas𝕴-Boas.
However, Sandro did not see eye-to-eye with ▨interim replace🍨ment Tim Sherwood, with the manager onceto play for the club.

Mauricio Pochettino also failed to see Sandro as part of his plans at White Hart Lane and, as Sandro described 🎀to Esporte Interativo, an offer to join Zenit St Petersburg fell through after Daniel Levy asked for too much money.
“My departure from Tottenham started in a fight with the interim coach (Sherwood).
“I had a very good proposal from Zenit in my hands, but the president of Tottenham ended up putting a high price and the Russians said: ‘we are not going to pay this money.’”
Indeed, , Levy wanted £15 million for Sandro with Zenit instℱead hoping to pay around £8 million.
But it was not just Levy behind the failed move. Sandro himself admits he told Pochettino he did not want the move, before realising soon after that, because of his recent injury troubles, he did not feature in the Argentine’sꦑ plans.
“When he (Pochettino) called me, I said I didn’t want to (leave). I regret it. I got burned with Pochettino and saw that Tottenham wanted to negotiate, I found myself in a scenario in which the coach would not use me because of my condition. I was one of the most experienced Premier League players, four years with Tottenham, so I could have taken another position and waited longer to leave.”
In the end, Sandro headed to QPR, being reunited with Harry Re🌌dknapp at Loftus Road. Now, the midfielder, affectionately known as ‘Beast’ to Tottenham fans, is back in Brazil with Goias, where he will be hoping to have more success than his recent spells at Genoa and Udinese.
Totꦇtenham fans will always h🀅ave something of a soft spot for Sandro, as he developed a reputation for his larger than life character during his time at Spurs. It’s just a shame his time at the club ended in such an acrimonious fashion.
