Samir Nasri reacts to Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League win against PSG and singles out one player for criticism
Arsenal got their first win in the UEFA Champions League this season as they brushed aside PSG 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
First-half goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka buoyed Mikel Arteta’s side to a routine win as the Parisian giants were no match for their brilliance at home.
The Gunners now have four points from two games – having drawn their first group stage game 0-0 against Atalanta – and will look to make it successive wins when they face Shakhtar Donetsk at home after the international break.
As Arsenal romped to all three points, Samir Nasri reacted to the result after the game and blamed PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma for his role in both goals they conceded.

The Italian didn’t cover himself in too much glory as he failed to gather Leandro Trossard’s cross for the first goal, while Bukayo Saka’s free-kick from the right flank found its way into the back of the net moments later without much of a reaction from him.
Nasri feels Donnarumma was at fault for both Arsenal goals as he pointed out a glaring weakness in his gameplay.

“Gianluigi Donnarumma, that’s his weakness, the aerial game,” said Nasri on Canal + (quotes via ).
“We see it in the image of what he does tonight, he reacted to the opening of the score. The second goal? I blame him too.
“For me, it’s his fault, he puts his hands in front and the ball goes just wide. Okay, no one touches it… but the free kick is not taken hard.”
What next for Arsenal?
Arsenal face Southampton at home in the Premier League before the international break and will look to keep pace with Liverpool at the top of the table with a win.

With four wins and two draws from a tough run of games at the start of the new season, Arteta will be happy his side are unbeaten and will look to make it count in the coming weeks to lay down the marker for the rest of the season.
