Samir Nasri comments on future of Arsenal, West Ham and Manchester United-linked star

Arsenal, West Ham, Manchester United and other Premier League clubs reportedly want to sign Marseille star Boubacar Kamara this summer – but Samir Nasri has urged Kamara to stay put and remain at Marseille.

that West Ham United are rivalling both Chelsea and Manchester City for the 20-year-old star, who has broken into the Marseille senior side under Andre Villas-Boas on a regular basis. He is worth £28million.

Days after the initial Express report, Arsenal and Manchester United were also keen on France Under-21 international Kamara, who has been converted from a centre-back into a holding midfielder.

Former Arsenal and West Ham star Nasri claimed during an Instagram video, , as saying that the versatile Kamara should remain at Marseille and continue to develop – rather than move to the Premier League.

“I would advise him to stay,” Nasri said. “He’s a good player. He was irregular last season. They stabilised him in the middle, where he is very good. He will be even better but he needs to gain experience. Get to the Champions League and you will gain experience. Then you can leave. If he wants to leave now, he needs an important step, not the top right away.”

TBR’s view – Would Kamara be good in the Premier League?

Still only 20, Kamara has starred for Marseille – showing quality in both holding midfield and centre-back. On paper, he is just the player both Arsenal and West Ham need. Certainly, the two London clubs need him more than United.

Showing enormous potential and enough to already be a regular in ligue 1, Kamara will be good enough for the Premier League. He has much more chance of starting for the Hammers, though, than he does at Arsenal.
