Said Benrahma and Gianluca Scamacca both left very impressed by 27-year-old West Ham player’s display last night
West Ham United recorded their fifth home win on the bounce last night, defeating Bournemouth 2-0 at the London Stadium.
The result moves the Hammers up to tenth in the table, after briefly flirting with the relegation zone.
It was a superb performance from David Moyes’ side, although both goals had a tinge of controversy.
The ball appeared to strike Thilo Kehrer’s arm before eventually being nodded in by Kurt Zouma.

West Ham doubled their lead in the final minutes, after Said Benrahma confidently dispatched a penalty past Mark Travers.
The Hammers kept their third clean sheet of the season, and Zouma took to Instagram to celebrate his side’s performance.
Zouma’s performance impressed teammates Benrahma and Gianluca Scamacca, who replied to the 27-year-old after the match.
Both players started the match, and Benrahma was a nuisance throughout, while Scamacca couldn’t create himself any clear-cut opportunities.
Benrahma and Scamacca impressed by Zouma
“Well, I’ve been waiting for that feeling for a long time!
“Thanks to everyone who has been supporting me all the way!
“Very happy with the goal, the clean sheet, and the win.”
The Italian striker replied to Zouma is a flaming heart emoji, while Benrahma called him ‘my brother’.

The Hammers have had their fair share of injuries at centre-back this season.
However, no defender has played more minutes in the league this season than Zouma.
Thilo Kehrer has enjoyed a great start to life in London, although Klopp believed he was at fault for Liverpool’s goal last week.
West Ham’s most expensive defensive recruit of the summer was Nayef Aguerd.

However, he’s yet to make his debut after picking up a serious injury in pre-season.
He’s on the mend though, and Moyes delivered some ‘really good news’ on his fitness last week.
He won’t be worried about his other defenders while the Frenchman is playing this well.
It’s no surprise Benrahma and Scamacca were impressed with Zouma’s performance last night.
