Ryan Mason has bad news about ‘fantastic’ Spurs player
Tottenham Hotspur interim manager Ryan Mason expects Spurs defender Ben Davies to be out for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old has been sidelined with a calf injury since Tottenham’s victory over Aston Villa in March.
Davies was expected to be out for around three weeks, as was at the time, but he remains on the sidelines.

Speaking ahead of the Premier League meeting with Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Mason had bad news to share about the Welshman.
When asked by about the club’s injury situation, he replied: “No change. Ben is the only one who hasn’t trained.
“To be honest, I’ll be surprised if he’s in contention for any of our three remaining fixtures but everyone else has trained this week.”
Mason was then asked if he thought Davies could play for Wales at the European Championships.
“I am not sure,” he replied. “Ben was out doing some individual work and hopefully he will progress very nicely over the next few days and the next week.
“It is too early to make a decision on the Euros but I am sure Ben feels confident on that.
“We just know he has been out for such a long time, it is not very realistic to expect that he will return to training or play a game in the next 10 days.”
