Ryan Fraser could be the perfect Scott Sinclair upgrade for Celtic

Celtic may start looking for a new winger in January or next summer due to the poor form of Scott Sinclair.

Sinclair has been a reliable performer on the wings for Celtic over the past few seasons.

But his inconsistency this season has been frustrating. While he has scored four goals this season, he has regressed since his prolific first year with Celtic.

James Forrest is in good form on the other wing but with Lewis Morgan not quite ready for first-team football at Celtic Park, Brendan Rodgers could look to bring in a new face.

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser would be an ideal signing for the Bhoys. He is relatively young, proven in the Premier League, hungry and Scottish.

The 4-cap Scotland international is likely to be a permanent fixture in the national side after kicking on at Bournemouth.

This season, Fraser has enjoyed his most successful return to date. With four goals and six assists in 14 games, the diminutive winger is one of the deadliest wingers in the Premier League.

Celtic could tempt the ex-Aberdeen man back to Scotland with the lure of silverware and European football.

The 24-year-old has the potential to get even better and he is an upgrade on Sinclair.
