Ryan Edmondson has hailed his Leeds United Under-23s teammate Kamil Miazek, who was the hero on Monday in a win over Birmingham City to win the Professional Development League national title.
The Whites beat Birmingham on penalties to claim the title and goalkeeper Miazek saved two penalties at Elland Road during the shoot-out.
Carlos Corberan has done an excellent job managing the Under-23s side this campaign and Jack Clarke is the major talent to breakthrough from them to the senior set-up.
Leeds centre-forward Edmondson has explained that teammate Miazek is extremely difficult to face in training, but enjoyed his saves to win on penalties.
“Kamil is a nightmare in training he does your head in. The amount of times he’s annoyed me in training, it’s paid off today for us all. For the penalty takers it’s good for us to step up and be brave,”

Leeds have a number of talented individuals in their youth ranks and fans should expect more to make the step up to the first team next season.
Marcelo Biesla does already have two senior options in goal, with Kiko Casilla and Bailey Peacock-Farrell his top two.
Miazek is a highly-rated goalkeeper that has performed well for the Under-23s side and was the hero on Monday.
The 22-year-old is a colossus that has not made a senior appearance for the Yorkshire giants, but has featured on the bench before in the Championship.
He is a Polish shot-stopper that is out of contract as it stands in the summer, so it will be intriguing to see where his future lies.
