Ryan Christie’s Kieran Tierney comments will interest Arsenal fans amid reports
, Arsenal are interested in Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie.
Christie has been excellent for the Hoops over the last few years. And while his form has not been quite as impressive this season, he has still managed to contribute 11 assists in all competitions.

that Arsenal have joined a host of Premier League sides in monitoring the 25-year-old.
Admittedly, some may have their doubts over whether Christie would want to leave Parkhead this month.
The Bhoys are still in the hunt to win their 10th league title in a row. And having played an important role in their last couple of title wins, he may be looking to do all he can to try and get Celtic across the line.
Having said that, based on comments Christie previously made concerning Arsenal, perhaps there is a chance that the 25-year-old would simply be unable to justify turning the Gunners down if the chance to move to the Emirates presented itself.
Christie is not the first Celtic player Arsenal have targeted in recent years. In 2019, the Gunners landed Kieran Tierney.

‘They will realise the opportunity’
At the time, Tierney came in for some criticism from Hoops fans for leaving. And Christie was one who stuck up for the left-back.
“In a few months, when everyone looks back on this, I’m sure there will be no ill-feeling towards Kieran,” he said, , when discussing his £25 million move.
“They will realise the opportunity that has been put in front of KT, and that he’d have been mad not to take it.”
Of course, the two situations are not exactly the same. Arsenal had just finished fifth and reached the Europa League final the season before Tierney’s arrival.
Meanwhile, Celtic are obviously much closer to the historic achievement than they were when Tierney was offered the chance to leave.
But Arsenal’s stature has not changed. And with Celtic having so much work to do to catch Rangers, Christie may feel that he also has little choice should they chance to join the Gunners present itself.
