‘Running riot’, ‘new dimension’: Some West Ham fans in awe of 22-year-old’s display today
A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to praise Grady Diangana’s display today.
The Hammers were in pre-season action against Brentford at the London Stadium, going on to record a 2-1 win against the Championship playoff finalists.
Andriy Yarmolenko opened the scoring in the fifth minute, rifling home after being set up by a superbly-timed Pablo Fornals pass.

And some West Ham fans were pleased with the player’s efforts on the day, hoping for more similar displays in 2020-21:

– Fornals needs to play in the middle
– Haller has been given a lot of freedom, has been roaming around all the attacking area
– Wilshere would be a starter if he was fit— Martim ⚒️ (@Mertins1801)
Diangana giving us a new dimension.
Absolutely vital he stays as I said before.

Diangana came through the ranks at West Ham and, in January last year, at the London Stadium until 2025.
