Roy Keane tears into Harry Kane after Tottenham FA Cup exit
Roy Keane that Harry Kane is part of the problem at Tottenham Hotspur, as he labelled their performance against Middlesbrough on Tuesday pretty pathetic.
Spurs missed out on their last opportunity to secure a trophy this season. They were knocked out of the FA Cup by the Championship side after extra-time.

It was an extremely poor performance from Antonio Conte’s side. And it means that they are still awaiting their first back-to-back wins in all competitions since December. They have also not drawn a single game since the turn of the year.
The result has led to questions about the future of Harry Kane. Reports claimed that he had told friends that he saw winning the FA Cup as an achievement that would pave the way for further success. It was also claimed that he is 50/50 on the idea of staying beyond this season.

Tottenham fans may fear what missing out on the FA Cup may mean for Kane’s future. But Keane has suggested that he was just as much to blame for Spurs losing at the Riverside Stadium as anyone else.
“How many times do we have to say it? Whatever’s in that club’s DNA, the players, there’s a weakness there. Pretty pathetic, I’ll be honest with you. But I wasn’t surprised, gone up to Middlesbrough, midweek, probably a bit cold, no surprises there,” .
“He’s part of the problem, he’s on the pitch. He needs to do more. If he’s your main striker and he’s your top guy, he’s still got to do more. He’s still got to lead them, doesn’t lead them that well.”
Tottenham finishing in top four looks imperative if they hope to keep Kane
Right now, Kane must be thinking about his future. The fact that Tottenham were knocked out by second-tier opposition when it was clear how important the FA Cup was is alarming.
The positive of their fifth-round exit is that that disappointment could well subside by the time the campaign concludes. But, it is absolutely imperative that Spurs now finish in the top-four.
Securing a return to the Champions League is surely their last throw of the dice when it comes to keeping Kane at Tottenham.
But as Keane’s comments show, they have plenty of doubters to silence if they hope to secure that top-four spot.
