Roy Keane takes harsh dig at Tottenham right at the end of Sky’s programme yesterday

It doesn’t take much for Roy Keane to upset people or ruffle a few feathers and he’s been at it again with a simple but effective comment directed at Tottenham this time.

Tottenham don’t actually play until tonight but Keane was in the studio for Sky last night as he watched Manchester United be taken apart by Manchester City. Man United take on Spurs next and Gary Neville, who joined Keane and co in the studio after the game, insisted it is a must win for the Old Trafford club.

However, ever the quick-witted showman he’s become, Keane was on hand to deliver a sly little dig in the way of Tottenham before eventually went off air.

As Neville spoke about the need to see off Spurs and how important it was, Keane quickly with “It’s only Spurs next week. Got to beat Spurs.” As usual, the comment had the likes of Neville and Richards in hysterics, before the Sky presenter Dave Jones joked that Conte will just stick that comment on the wall.

Keane, as usual, was unflustered.

TBR’s View: United Have To Beat Spurs Like Neville Says

The Red Devils need to bounce back. It was a near massacre yesterday at the Etihad and it could have been even more if not for City taking the foot off the gas at times.

Keane, as we all know, is brilliant with these little jibes. But he is right in a way too. If United harbour aspirations of finishing in the top four, then they have to see of Conte’s side.
