Romeo Lavia has been discussing who he thinks are Chelsea’s top youngsters and has named three players who should get supporters excited.
Despite recent results, the Blues look to be building an exciting project in West London with many top young talents coming through at Cobham.
Cole Palmer is of course leading Chelsea’s new generation of talent but he is being backed up by several other emerging younger players.
Now, Lavia has told supporters who they should be looking out for in the future as he named the club’s top young talents.

Romeo Lavia names Chelsea’s three best youngsters
Romeo Lavia believes that Tyrique George, Josh Acheampong and Shim Mheuka are Chelsea’s three most exciting young talents.
Lavia told Rising Ballers: “I think Tyrique George, I see Josh Acheampong and one player you guys might know Shim (Mheuka) – good striker. I would say these three I’m really confident in their abilities.”
George has started working his way into Enzo Maresca’s team over recent weeks having made 20 appearances for the Blues this season.
Acheampong is having to be patient after dropping back to the bench after starting in two Premier League games in a row but the 18-year-old looks like a very talented full-back.
Chelsea fans were impressed by Acheampong’s first Premier League start against Crystal Palace as the defender featured as a centre-back away at Selhurst Park.
Meanwhile, aged just 17, Mheuka has already been handed his first-team debut as he appeared in the West London club’s 3-1 win over FC Astana in the Europa Conference League.
Why Tyrique George could get his chance at Chelsea soon
Tyrique George came off the bench against Brighton in the FA Cup with both Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho disappointing on the wings.
Maresca’s team are not offering enough in attack right now and the Italian manager needs to think about changing things up.
George might be the answer to the Blues’ struggles with the 19-year-old having earned his chance to at least have a run in the side.
