‘Blocked the move’: Fabrizio Romano says club have stopped Tottenham signing ‘fantastic’ player before Thursday
Tottenham won’t be signing Chelsea defender, Trevoh Chalobah, with claiming the move has been blocked by Thom🐼as Tuchel.
Chaloba💧h is 🍒believed to have an offer on the table from Tottenham as he sꦇtruggles to cement his place in the Chelsea XI this season. However, he played this weekend as the Blues saw off Leicester and there now seems to have been a complete change of heart from Tuchel and those inside Chꦦelsea.

Taking to to report on the news earlier today, Romano confirmed that there had been talk over a possible loan move, but after Tuchel and Todd♔ Boehly spoke, the club are now keeping Chalobah and there will be no changing their mind before the deadline.
Chalobah will now be hoping to make his mark on the team for the rest of the season and𝓀 get even more 𒁃opportunities from Thomas Tuchel. However, with Wesley Fofana all but signed, Chalobah knows that the competition is there for a place in the starting XI.
Whether or not Chalobah will get the game time he wants between now and January remains to be seen. If 💦he isn’t playing, then he’s likely to be a name we revisit in the winter.
TBR’s View: Chalobah Will Expect Minutes
Chalobah can count himself unlucky not to be invo𝔍lved automatically so it was refreshing to see him in the team this weekend. ⭕Whether or not he remains though, is still to be seen.
The arrival of Fofana will be a worry🐻 for Chalobah and there’s no way Chelsea are spending £80m on ꦐa new player and not putting him straight into the first XI.
However, competition can be a good💟 things as well and you never know, Chalobah might raise his game further.
