‘Announcement expected’: Fabrizio Romano says Leeds have got their new manager wrapped up
Leeds United have moved quickly to replace Marcelo Bielsa and are expected to announce the appointment of Jesse Marsch, according to .

Bielsa and Leeds parted ways this weekend after yet another woeful defensive display at Elland Road. Tottenham picked the Whites off at will, and Bielsa, with his status as club legend still intact, has decided the time has come to move on.
The Leeds boss will, of course, take some replacing in the eyes of fans. Bielsa is loved around West Yorkshire and will go down as one of the all-time greats at Elland Road. But it appears Leeds are ready to move on quickly, and Romano has taken to tonight to say a deal to bring Marsch in is now all but done.
Marsch, 48, has worked his way through the ranks of the Red Bull owned teams and was most recently seen in charge of RB Leipzig over in Germany.
Regarded as one of the most promising coaches in the game in terms of his methods, Marsch has also been assistant manager for USA and made over 300 appearances in his playing career in the MLS.
TBR’s View: Bold And Risky Move From Leeds With Marsch
Marsch is clearly someone Leeds have eyed for some time so it does make sense for them to act quickly here.
However, it is also a risky appointment. Leeds need results now to haul themselves clear of relegation trouble and Marsch will need to hit the ground running. Taking over any new club is always tough. But following on from someone who was loved like Bielsa just brings added pressure.
Leeds, then, will hope this gamble pays off quickly and they can then look to the summer to give Marsch their full backing in the market.
