Romano gives Leeds move for Sinisterra the Here we go treatment

Fabrizio Romano has given Leeds United’s move for Luis Sinisterra the here we go treatment on Twitter overnight, suggesting that the transfer is almost ready to be announced with a deal agreed.

Sinisterra looks to be on the verge of becoming one of the latest additions at Elland Road. Leeds have acted swiftly with it appearing likely that their two best players from recent seasons will move on.

Of course, Raphinha remains a Leeds player right now. However, Whites supporters are probably yet to accept that there may be a chance that he could yet stay.

Sinisterra would certainly be a player who has the potential to get fans out of their seats in a similar way. He scored 23 goals in all competitions last season. The Colombian also provided 14 assists.

Romano himself confirmed that a move was on the verge of going through this week. And he has now provided a further update.

The journalist announced on Twitter that a deal is complete. Leeds will pay £21.5 million with add-ons for the Feyenoord star. Personal terms are already agreed.

Outsiders may well fear for Leeds should Raphinha join Kalvin Phillips in moving on. However, the Whites appear to be giving themselves a real chance to kick on next season.

Tyler Adams looks to be through the door also. So signing Sinisterra has the potential to be a really exciting piece of business.

There will still be apprehension about the side while pre-season is just getting underway. But perhaps the business the club are doing is providing reason for cautious optimism.
