Rodrigo delights Marsch with injury update in Leeds training video
included something of a small injury update on Rodrigo, with the forward telling Jesse Marsch that he had no problem with his shoulder following an incident that the team seemingly watched back ahead of taking to the pitch.
Rodrigo made his return to the Leeds side for last Sunday’s draw with Aston Villa. The Spaniard had come off during the first-half of the draw with Everton last month after injuring his shoulder in a clash with Jordan Pickford.

He would subsequently miss the defeat to Brentford. But with Leeds missing almost a month of action, the 31-year-old was back for what proved to be their next game.
. Interestingly, he noted that the level of injury at four weeks is thought to be the same as it is after two years. But he insisted that he had few concerns about the forward.

And it does seem that Rodrigo has recovered well – judging by a clip in .
Leeds training video includes positive injury update from Rodrigo
At around 2:41, Rodrigo is warming up with the likes of Jack Harrison and Mateusz Klich.
It would appear that they have just been studying some clips, presumably from the game against Villa. And Marsch asks about one in particular where it would appear that Rodrigo’s shoulder is put under stress.
The good news for Leeds is that Rodrigo came through it absolutely fine.
Marsch can heard saying: “And Rodri, even with that one we showed on video, no issues with your shoulder?”
“No problem,” Rodrigo replied.
“That’s great,” Marsch said.
Rodrigo has come in for a lot of criticism during his time at Leeds. But he started the season in brilliant form, scoring four goals in his first three games.
He has not scored in his last three. But having him back fit and available is definitely a big lift for a Leeds side which can quickly look light up front if there are any issues.
