Rodrigo Bentancur tells the Italian press three Tottenham players who are key to beating Milan in the UCL

Rodrigo Bentancur has been asked about Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League clash with Italian giants AC Milan.

The Uruguayan midfielder used to play in Serie A with Juventus and did an interview with Italian outlet TuttoSport, as per , where he was asked about the tie.

He said that Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski hold the key to getting into the last eight when European football resumes in February.

Bentancur previews Milan tie

He said: “In the Champions League we will face Milan, a club that is returning to high levels.  

“It will be a challenge that will be decided in midfield.

“They have great players, but in Europe second balls are fundamental.

“Watch out for Kulusevski, Kane and Son, they can solve a game at any time,” he warned.

There is a lot of football to be played between now and when the Champions League gets back underway.

Bentancur will go away to the World Cup with Uruguay, looking to go deep into the competition despite being drawn in a tough group.

Spurs are not in a good moment right now, and their first half performances have been a real concern as they prepare to face Leeds this afternoon.
