Robert Page issues update concerning Spurs’ Gareth Bale
Tottenham Hotspur fans have been handed a boost concerning Gareth Bale, with Wales coach Robert Page claiming that every player within the squad is fit, .
As noted by BBC Sport, Bale had an icepack on his ankle after coming off in Spurs’ win on Sunday. So the supporters faced an anxious wait to find out whether he had sustained any serious issues.

The 31-year-old, of course, has endured a tough time with injury in the past. So it would have been a bitter pill to swallow had he sustained a problem just as he was seemingly getting up to speed back in North London.
But ahead of Wales’s upcoming games, Page issued a positive update on the squad – seemingly confirming some good news regarding Bale.

“We have met up tonight and thankfully everybody else has come through unscathed,” he said, .
“That’s the good news.”
TBR View: Spurs fans’ fears not completely alleviated
Tottenham fans will be delighted that Bale is seemingly fine. However, they will now be concerned about the role he may be able to play for his country in this break.
After having this lift, it would feel like an even bigger blow than it would have done previously if he goes on and sustains an injury in the next week or so.
It is great news that he is apparently fit. But that will not stop Spurs fans keeping their fingers crossed until he returns to Jose Mourinho’s ranks.
