Rob Green admits he’s completely changed his mind about £100m West Ham player
Former West Ham United goalkeeper Rob Green has now admitted that he’s completely changed his mind about one player.
Green played 241 games for the Hammers, making the East London club the most significant in his career in terms of appearances, three ahead of his time with Norwich City.

The goalkeeper played for the club between 2006 and 2012, whilst also earning 12 caps for England during the span of his career.
That being said, Green has been sharing his thoughts on Jarrod Bowen’s position in the England squad, the club’s only representative for the national team right now.
Bowen played 80 minutes for England against Belgium last night and looked dangerous throughout, and he may still feel aggrieved not to have been awarded a goal.
Either way, it was a strong night for his prospects of making the Euros squad this summer, and he certainly made haste of Bukayo Saka’s absence from the squad, Gareth Southgate’s first choice on the right.
That being said, Rob Green was discussing Bowen’s chances of heading to Germany on , and admitted he’d completely changed his mind after last night.
Rob Green says he’s changed his mind about Jarrod Bowen’s chances for England
Green thought that Bowen wasn’t going to be in the squad prior to his strong display, but thought Southgate now had a ‘real headache’.
He explained: “The one that I didn’t have going before tonight and it’s still a question mark is Jarrod Bowen.

“I didn’t think he would get anywhere near the squad, not that he’s out of form, he just didn’t fit until tonight.
“And then tonight he has given Gareth Southgate a real headache.
“I think if he carries on playing for West Ham and Jack Grealish doesn’t carry on playing for Man City, he’s in.”
Southgate really is blessed with attacking talent to choose from, but even so, Bowen does have a great chance.
In truth, a few may disagree with Rob Green’s original position that the West Ham star wasn’t going to be on the plane prior to his showing, it always felt as if he was in relatively strong position.
But Bowen certainly took his chance, and proved why he’s considered to be a £100m asset these days.
All that being said, West Ham are thought to be considering a move for a player right on the cusp of the England squad too.
