Rival Premier League manager has privately spoken to £30m Arsenal player about signing him
Arsenal could end up parting ways with more than one player in the final few days of this summer’s transfer window.
Emile Smith Rowe has already left the club for Fulham and he is flying there. The Gunners made good money off his sale, and that will be their aim with a few other players too.
Arsenal have put Reiss Nelson, Aaron Ramsdale and Jakub Kiwior up for sale, while midfielder Fabio Vieira is off to Porto on a season-long loan deal.
There is another player who could leave Arsenal too, and have shared the latest on his situation.
What Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner told Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah
Crystal Palace have had an interest in Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah for a long time.
The Eagles have wanted him since Roy Hodgson was their manager, but Arsenal have managed to keep hold of him until now.
In the final few days of the window, however, the Englishman is likely to leave.
Arsenal are set to accept Crystal Palace’s bid to sign Nketiah, and the striker is expected to move to Selhurst Park in the coming days.
That wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for a call from Glasner to the Arsenal man.
The report claims that when Nketiah was closing in on a move to Nottingham Forest, Glasner privately spoke to him and asked him to wait for Palace.
The Gunners number 14 agreed, and that conversation is now all set to result in a £30 million move from North to South London before the window shuts on Friday.

What Nketiah has asked Arsenal to do
It is clear that Nketiah does not have a future at Arsenal.
The England international is behind Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus in Mikel Arteta’s pecking order, while Leandro Trossard is probably above him as well.
A transfer away this summer is the best thing for all parties involved, and to get a move to Crystal Palace over the line, Nketiah has asked Arsenal to lower their asking price.
The Gunners were demanding a fee in excess of £40 million for Nketiah, but they have now agreed to let him go for £30 million after his request.
Now, all signs point towards Nketiah becoming a new Crystal Palace player before the Eagles take on Chelsea this weekend.
