Rival optimistic Real Madrid let ‘magic’ £25m Arsenal target leave for free

Fiorentina are ‘very optimistic’ over the chances that Real Madrid let reported Arsenal target Isco leave for free during the January transfer window.

That’s according to , who report I Viola are determined to strengthen over the winter to improve their European push. Vincenzo Italiano’s side are in the mix for a European berth next season, but trail Atalanta and Juventus.

But Arsenal could threaten Fiorentina’s plans, as the Gunners would also like a transfer for the Real Madrid playmaker. That’s according to , who cited the Emirates Stadium as a possible destination in December.

Additionally, Arsenal plan to open talks with Isco ‘very soon’ over a transfer, given his lack of action at Real Madrid. The (£25m) star – who – has played nine games this season.

Carlo Ancelotti has also only started Isco in two fixtures this term, for a total of 194-minutes across all competitions. He played no minutes in their Champions League group stage ties and just 16 La Liga minutes since September.
