Rio Ferdinand hammers Tottenham defender Serge Aurier

ꦚFerdinand was brutally honest in his assessment of Aurier’s defending against Bayern and Gnabry, claiming the Germany international “destroyed” Aurier thoughout the match as Bayern capitalised.

TBR’s view – Is Aurier the long-term answer for Spurs at right-back?
𝓀On Tuesday night’s showing, no. The former Paris Saint-Germain defender was rash, out of position on numerous occasions and only looked good going forward. Defensively, he was a shambles.
🐠If Spurs are to build on their success last season, they need a better right-sided defender. The sale of Kieran Trippier is looking worse now, despite the England international’s performances coming under scrutiny last season.
