‘Right deal for all parties’ – These Nottingham Forest fans react to potential exit of Ben Osborn
According to the , a deal to take Ben Osborn to Sheffield United is almost done. The midfielder has been with Nottingham Forest for his entire career, but looks set for a switch to Bramall Lane this summer.
The Reds are running out of time to cash in on the 24-year-old, who only has one year left to run on his current contract at the City Ground. For that reason, the Midlands club may have to accept a cut price offer from the Yorkshire outfit.
Chris Wilder can offer Osborn Premier League football, making this an attractive move for the player too.

Osborn has been a very useful player for Forest over the years. His versatility has allowed him to feature regularly, and all over the park. However, perhaps due to this, he has never really nailed down a single place and made it entirely his own.
Forest will now need to reinvest whatever funds they raise from Osborn’s sale. Sabri Lamouchi has plenty of work to do in order to strengthen his side ahead of the new campaign.
Following reports of Osborn’s impending exit, plenty of Forest fans took to Twitter to give their views on the matter.
I’m so sorry to see Ben go, he’s a fine player who has perhaps been a victim of his versatility and of course the succession of managers. I hope it is a good move for him.

Every squad needs a Ben Osborn, versatile, always gives 100%, never hides, a consistent 7/10 performer who has never let down & has earned a crack at the Premier League with . I think he’s very much a Chris Wilder type of player & will surprise a few. Good luck to him.
