Richard Keys suggests ex-Liverpool manager to take over at Everton
that Marco Silva should be replaced as manager at Everton, and has suggested the Toffees targe𓄧t former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez.
Everton have won just two of their opening six Premier League fixtures under Silva, sitting in 14th place despite being suggested as the team that have the quality to break into the top six places of the Premier Lea♔gue.
The Toffees were tactically outclassed on Saturday afternoon as Sheffield United produced a sterling di🍸splay to beat the Merseyside outfit 2-0 at Goodison Park, a side that included Phil Jagielka who came on after 64 minutes.
BeIN Sports presenter Keys wrote on his blog that he believes Benitez, who curre💯ntly manages Chinese Super Lea꧑gue side Dalian Yifang after leaving Newcastle in the summer, would be the ideal replacement for Silva – and reckons he would be keen.

“I’d change coach now. I raised a few 🐟eye brows a couple of months ago when I suggested Mourinho would be perfect for Arsenal – new ‘George Graham’ I said,”
“Well here’s one to digest. My suggestion for Everton? Rafa. And trust me – he’d walk back from China to take꧂ it. In the meant🐽ime – it’s Liverpool’s [Premier League title to lose].”
TBR’s view – Should Silva be given more time at Everton?
Everton is a very difficult club to manage. The Toffees’ fanbase are💯 expecting the club to rival the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea for a place 𝐆in the top six.
However, do they have the players? The short answer, is no. They lack a strik﷽er that is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, while Dom Calvert-Lewin is chipping in here and there. Something is missing at Everton, but it hardly seems Silva’s fault.
