Richard Keys saw unfriendly exchange between Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool player during win vs Sheffield United

Richard Keys noticed an unfriendly exchange between Jurgen Klopp and one Liverpool player during Thursday’s 3-1 win over Sheffield United.

The German is usually a warm manager who rarely lets his players walk by ꦗhim without giving them a hug, although ꦆa somewhat frosty interaction was seen instead as the Reds took on the Blades.

Goals from Darwin Nunez🍌, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo ensured Liverpool returned to the top of the Premier League on 70 points – after Arsenal shoved the Reds into second on Wednesday night with a win over Luton.

So, which Liverpool player was involved in a cold interaction with Jurgen Klopp? Let’s take a look…

The beIN SPORTS pundit noticed the Egypt international looking far from pleased, after he was withdrawn in the 60th minute with Liverpool drawing 1-🎀1 at that point.

Speaking alongside Andy Gray, Keys🉐 said: “He’s took Mo Salah off, now what’s this? Shake of the head, no, no, no. Oooo. Wasn’t friendly, was it?”

You can understand why Salah was upset.

The Liverpool No.🅺11 scored the winning goal in last week’s 2-1 victory over🧜 Brighton, and surely backed himself to get the Reds another three points against Sheffield United.

However, Salah – who Joe Cole thinks is better tꦏhan Gareth Bale ever was 🐲– can’t still be annoyed with Klopp after seeing how the🐽 substitutions influenced the game.

Taking Mohamed Salah off was correct

It is always a risk to take your star man off wꩲhen the scores are level – had Liverpool not fought back to win, Klopp surely would have been heavily critiꦇcised for the move.

However, the Ge🦹rman ♉is one of Europe’s greatest managers for a reason.

Salah came🅺 off in the 60th minute alongside Ryan Gravenberch in place of Harvey Elliott and Andrew Robertson – both of whom made a huge impact.

It was the latter who deli꧟vered an outstanding cross for Cody Gakpo to make it 3-1 in the 90th minute, while it was also the Scotland international who i𒀰nadvertently created Mac Allister’s goal when his low cross was deflected.

In regards to Elliott, the England U21 international actually made more key passes (2) in 30 🃏minutes of action than Salah (1) did in 60 minutes, as shown by .

Klopp’s job is to react if things aren’t going to plan during games, and the 56-꧂year-old certainly earned his money on Thursday night.
