Rangers boss Steven Gerrard and Ibrox director of football Ross Wilson have produced a shortlist of potential replacements for Alfredo Morelos should their star striker leave the club this summer.
the Ibrox club would be ready to bring in a new striker swiftly should Morelos leave Rangers this summer.
One name on that list is reported to be Rhian Brewster, a player Rangers boss Steven Gerrard knows well.
Rangers would be signing the youngster on loan from Liverpool, where Gerrard was previously his manager for the Liverpool youth team.

Brewster has even spoken of his appreciation for the Rangers manager in the past, especially after helping him after two incidents of racial abuse playing for Liverpool in the UEFA Youth League.
“Stevie was an exceptional manager for me on the pitch and personally,” Brewster . “He was constantly making sure that I was okay, he was always available if I needed to chat or get things off my chest.
“It’s a loss to the academy that he’s now at Rangers, but it’s great for him and I know he’ll do big things.”
That would undoubtedly help Rangers in their hopes of bringing Brewster to Ibrox this summer. The forward has already shown what he can do when playing under the tutelage of a manager who trusts him.
His former England under-20 boss Steve Cooper brought him to Swansea City in January and he has gone on to score 11 goals in 22 games. Rangers fans would hope that Gerrard could have a similar impact should Brewster make a move to Ibrox this summer.
