Reported Arsenal transfer target Jonjoe Kenny has a horrific record against the Gunners

Arsenal are reportedly interested in the signature of Everton defender Jonjoe Kenny. The England under-21 star was having a stellar season on loan at Schalke before the Bundesliga was postponed due to the global health crisis.

on the interest whilst initially suggested that Kenny could be an Arsenal target back in January.

With Arsenal needing to improve at right-back, Mikel Arteta raiding his former club for one of their top young talents certainly makes sense.

However, Arsenal fans who have seen Kenny in action might be struggling to see what the fuss is all about.

Kenny only has a handful of Everton appearances but three of them have come in the Premier League against Arsenal.

None of them ended well. In fact, two of them were a complete disaster. Kenny faced Arsenal twice in the 2017-18 season. Everton lost both games, 5-2 and 5-1, with Kenny playing 90 minutes in both fixtures. The other loss was last season, as Everton were beaten 2-0 at The Emirates. That’s a record of three losses in three games, with Kenny’s Everton also conceding 12 goals.

Kenny has certainly built up a good reputation with his performances in the Bundesliga. But Arsenal fans who watched him in action during those games will undoubtedly be wondering what all the fuss is about.
