Reported Arsenal and Leeds United summer target Michael Olise put in another superb display for his side on Tuesday night, earning plaudits along the way.

While the Royals have done well to retain the young midfielder’s services for the rest of the year, links are bound to emerge once again in the lead-up to, and during, the January window.

Olise looks a cut above despite his age, with two goals and three assists in nine competitive games for the Championship’s early pacesetters, who are already seven points clear at the top.

And on Tuesday, in the 4-2 win away at Blackburn, Olise was once again one of Reading’s stars with his side’s second goal of the night.

Local outlet gave him a 9 out of 10 and wrote: “Produced a brilliantly composed finish for Reading’s second after a lung-busting run towards goal.

“Confidently breezed past the defender before angling a shot into the bottom corner. Full of tricks all night and Rovers couldn’t handle him.”
