Report: Xherdan Shaqiri agrees three-year Lyon deal; Liverpool accept over £10m
Liverpool are finally moving winger Xherdan Shaqiri on, after the club accepted a bid from Lyon to sell the the Switzerland star.
The Reds have been looking for a buyer for Shaqiri all summer and are now in a position where they have agreed to sell. Fabrizio Romano reports on Twitter that Liverpool have accepted a bid worth just over £10m for Shaqiri, after initially rejected a bid around £5m.

Romano also claims Shaqiri has already agreed terms with Lyon on a three-year contract.
The move will bring an end to the Swiss star’s three-year stay at Anfield. He signed for the Reds from Stoke, after .
Since then, he has struggled to ever be a regular. But he has played his part for the Reds and will leave a Premier League winner.
After only signing Ibrahima Konate this summer, Jurgen Klopp has now brought in over £20m for Shaqiri and Harry Wilson. The German coach, then, may well expect to be able to reinvest that in the first-team.
TBR’s View: A good move for Liverpool and Shaqiri
Liverpool are so, so good at getting money for their fringe players that all you can do is admire it at times. Over £10m for Shaqiri is tremendous news, and gives them a bit of a cash boost.
The question now is, can they go out and get someone in? With Salah and Mane away in January, Klopp will hope the answer is yes.
For Shaqiri, this is a good move to a big club where he’ll play every week.
