Report: ‘World class’ Premier League player now wants to join Frank Lampard at Everton
Talented Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour wants to join Everton this summer after a disappointing 2021/22 season.
Gilmour went out to Norwich on loan but struggled to nail down a regular spot in their side as they were relegated from the Premier League.
report that Everton want the Scotland international and that he is open to a move to Goodison Park to kickstart his career again.
The pair worked together at Chelsea and Lampard is apparently ready to step up his bid to sign Gilmour after the 4-0 pre-season defeat to Minnesota United.

Gilmour really got pundits and fans excited when he broke into Chelsea’s side but he has struggled to build on that.
Part of that is just how difficult it is to break into Chelsea’s side when they are competing for the very biggest prizes, and won the Champions League while he was in the squad.
John McGinn has called his Scotland international teammate but that is really just potential at this stage.
But Everton need class and quality in their midfield, as well as some youth and Gilmour could provide all of that.
He has a great future in the game if he can get regular Premier League football, and his arrival would be a coup for Everton at the right price.
Lampard took a chance on Dele Alli which has so far not taken off and Gilmour would be another player with a high ceiling who needs a confidence boost.
