Report: Wolves will trigger option to sign Vitinha on permanent deal
Wolves will trigger their option to sign Vitinha from Porto on a permanent basis, according to .
The Portugal youth international joined the Midlanders on a season-long loan spell during last summer’s transfer window. He rarely featured under former manager Nuno Espirito Santo, making just 19 appearances in the Premier League.
Speaking about his role at the club back in March, Vitinha claimed that he ‘‘. It was the first time the player moved away from home, but, the large contingent of Iberian players helped him settle.
It’s being claimed Porto expect Wolves to trigger their €20m (£17.2m) option to sign the player, and no reason to believe the contrary.
Sergio Conceicao will reportedly welcome back the 21-year-old with open arms. Nonetheless, failing to sell the youngster will be a blow to the club’s accounts.

Wolves shouldn’t trigger the option to sign Vitinha
During his time with at Molineux Stadium, the attacking midfielder struggled massively. Just five starts across 38 games is a woeful return and best highlighted his problems.
And when you factor in the side’s struggles in front of goal, it makes his loan spell look far worse.
Nuno’s side last season scored just 36 times across their 38 Premier League games. As a matter of fact, Raul Jimenez, who missed most of the campaign, finished as the second-top scorer on four goals.
The attack struggled on the whole, however, it was still not enough to see Vitinha break into the team.
Bruno Lage may have different plans regarding the attacker, but, to trigger the option to sign Vitinha would be a bad decision from Wolves.
