Report: Wolves want to sign £63m attacker this summer
Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a sensational summer swoop for Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, according to a report in Spanish outlet .
The Colombia international is back at the Bernabeu following a loan stint at Bayern Munich but is out of favour under Zinedine Zidane, with just 13 appearances all season.

According to , Wolves are hoping to make use of their strong relationship with Jorge Mendes, whose Gestifute agency represents Rodriguez, to pull off the coup in the summer.
Rodriguez – whose contract expires in 2021 – is reportedly valued at £71million by Real but the Molineux side is hoping Mendes can act as a mediator to lower the asking price.
Everton, whose head coach Carlo Ancelotti signed Rodriguez at Real and Bayern, are also believed to be in the hunt for the player’s signature.

Rodriguez is undoubtedly a talented player, once considered to be amongst the best young players in the world, and on his day he is unplayable.
Admittedly he may haven’t had the best time at Real, while Bayern opted not to make his loan deal permanent, and he’s had his fair share of over the past few years.
However, for a side like Wolves, assembling a great squad and working their way up into the upper echelons of English and European football, Rodriguez would be a superb signing.
A versatile midfielder and attacker who thrives in the number 10 and number 9 position alike, Rodriguez boasts pace, technical skills and great vision, can play with both feet, and gets plenty of goals and assists – it would be a no-brainer for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
