Report: Wolves want £24,000-a-week talisman, Premier League boss says he’s ‘unselfish’
Wolves are eyeing a move for Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie before Tuesday’s transfer deadline. The talisman wants out of Bramall Lane and Bruno Lage is keen to bolster his ranks, according to The Sun on Sunday .
The Blades are yet to win since their return to the Championship. They have claimed two points from five matches and h💎ave scored just one goal in the league. McBurnie has started two games in the league.
Wolves are keen to bolster their squad though. Interestingly, the team hꩵas played some really attacking football under Lage, although they’ve yet to score in two Premier League matches.

As a result, the new incumbent is ꦐkeen to attack the transfer market. McBurnie is firmly on the shortlist,♌ with Wolves likely to seek a loan deal for the Scotland international as opposed to a permanent deal.
Sheffield United landed♕ the 25-year-old in 2019. He cost the club in a deal which did raise some eyebrows. In 71 appearances for the Blades, he’s managed just seven goals and a solitary assist.
McBurnie would probab🐼ly be allowed to leave United this month. He ear🅺ns and Slavisa Jokanovic would dearly love that salary available to strengthen his squad.
Would McBurnie be a good addition to the Wolves ranks?
It’s fair to say that Wolves fans would welcome sꦇomeone with a Premier League pedigree; and a striker with a better record in the top-flight than McBurnie.

That said, he has been praised by Graham Potter previously for💮 being and that perhaps showcases he brings more to a team th🦹an just goals.
In a Lage-managed team, chances will be created for the centre-forwards. That ဣwould bode well f♏or McBurnie as he attempts to improve his goals to games ratio and a move could suit all parties.
