Wolverhampton Wanderers are planning to send Morgan Gibbs-White out on loan for the coming season, that Swansea City are set to land the midfielder.

And he now looks set to link up with a familiar face. that Steve Cooper is closing in on agreeing a loan deal for the youngster.

Cooper was in charge of the England under-17 side that won the World Cup in 2017. Gibbs-White was a central figure in their run to the trophy, scoring in the final for the Three Lions.

TBR View: Swansea loan could be ideal for Gibbs-White

Gibbs-White looks to be an incredibly exciting prospect. Unfortunately, he is looking to force his way into a Wolves side that boasts enormous strength, particularly in the middle of the park.

Playing regularly will surely help his development considerably. And Cooper looks to be a fantastic boss to work under.

Rhian Brewster and Conor Gallagher enjoyed outstanding loan spells at the Liberty Stadium last season. They have both returned to their parent clubs having proved a real point while away.

And Gibbs-White is more than good enough to follow in their footsteps.
