Postecoglou will currently be coming to terms with the fact that Celtic’s Champions League journey is almost definitely set to end at the group-stages.

A spot in the Europa League is not out of the question. But they must beat Shakhtar Donetsk to stand any chance.

Whether that disappointment comes into Postecoglou’s thinking remains to be seen if Wolves make an approach. But the Australian is absolutely loved at Parkhead.

Wolves meanwhile, are really struggling at the start of this Premier League season. So it may not be the most appealing opportunity.

Journalist Rory Smith previously told that Postecoglou had admirers at Manchester City. So a Premier League move may well be on the cards at some stage.
