Report: Wolves have now interviewed 39-year-old manager, Kilman has already played ‘really well’ under him
Wolverhampton Wanderers have interviewed former Watford and Forest Green Rovers manager Rob Edwards.
Edwards will be well aware of the what goes on behind-the-scenes at Molineux, having already coached their under-18s and under-21s.
During that time, he worked with a number of players still at the club.
One of those was Max Kilman, who had risen through the ranks at Wolves in the past few seasons.

The centre-back was a mainstay under Edwards in the under-21s, and really impressed his manager.
“Max Kilman came into it (the under-21s) from nowhere and did really well,” .
It looks unlikely at this stage that Wolves will have a new manager in charge for their next match.
They take on fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest on Saturday, with both sides currently sitting in the relegation zone.
Wolves have interviewed Edwards
There’s certainly an element of romance about appointing a former player as manager at any club.
Edwards really impressed at Forest Green Rovers, taking them to their highest ever position in the football pyramid.
Joining recently relegated Watford was always going to be a gamble for Edwards, giving their track record of sacking managers.
He lasted just eleven matches before being dismissed a few weeks ago.

Edwards doesn’t appear to be hanging around looking for a new job, and has already held talks with Middlesbrough.
He’s not the only candidate potentially in line to succeed Bruno Lage.
Former Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui turned down the chance to manage Wolves, .
Portuguese manager Pedro Martins is also reportedly close to joining Wolves, according to .
However, Wolves interviewing Edwards means that the club’s owners have yet to make a final decision.
It’s a big call, and making the correct decision is vital.
However, the longer it takes to bring someone in, the more opportunities to earn points pass the club by.
