Report: Wolves could lose Nuno Santo with Atletico Madrid circling

Atletico Madrid will make their move for Wolves boss, Nuno Santo if Diego Simeone leaves the club this summer.

The Wolves gaffer has drawn high praise all season long for his performance in🍬 the Molineux hot seat.

After enduring a gruelling Europa League campaign, Santo has also led Wolves to within touching distance of a Champions League place in the Premier League. This is made all the more impressive by the fact he’▨s used more or less the same XI for most games.

However, his impressive reign has not gone unnoticed, it would seem. ) with the current boss, Diego Simeone, on the radar of French giants, PSG꧑.

Simeone has been hugely successful in the Spanish capit🐻al. He’s led Los Rojos Blancos to the La Li🅠ga title as well as a number of Champions League finals.

But with PSG circling and w♚ith seemin✃gly limitless spending power, Atleti could be powerless to stop Simeone from making the move to Ligue 1.

Wolves, meanwhile, will be desperate to keep hold of their own man. The Portuguese boss only his conᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚtract into 2021 a🔯 short time ago.

However, Atletico won’t be worried about that, especiall🅘y given that they would only have to buy out a year of Santo’s deal if they did want to bring him to the Spanish capital.

No big surprises – TBR View

It’s hardly surprising given Wolves’ run in Europe that he has caught the eye. Many expected that to coinc👍ide with a poor Premier League run but it’s simply not happened.

Nuno Santo is one of the best coaches around in the English game at the moment. While he’s full of passion, he’s als𓆉o tactically innovative given Wolves’ expansive 3-4-3 formation.

Wolves are a club that is on the up. But the chance to manage a giant of European football in Atletico might well prove something the 46-year-old finds 🐈hard to turn dow🐓n.
