Report: Wolves agree £9m deal, player awaiting permission to jet into England for medical
that Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a move to sign Olymiakos goalkeeper Jose Sa. A fee has been set at £9million and all parties are ready to sanction a move. Sa is now awaiting permission to travel to England and undergo a medical, before signing on at Wolves.
Rui Patricio is said to be closing in on a move to join Jose Mourinho at AS Roma. With Portugal now out of Euro 2020, the Portugal number one can focus on his future this summer. Following two seasons with Wolves, it looks as though he is set to swap the Midlands for Rome.
Wolves need a replacement and that man looks to be uncapped Portuguese stopper Sa. The 28-year-old has impressed since initially joining the Greek league champions on loan in 2018. Keeping a huge 62 clean sheets in 124 games, Wolves have moved. A £9million fee is agreed for Sa.

Wolves pulling off a coup with Sa at £9million
Sa is a top, top goalkeeper. A title winner on two occasions in three seasons with Olympiacos, it is strange that he has not been handed a cap by Portugal as of yet. Still only 28, he has plenty of life left in him between the sticks. So, to get him for £9million is brilliant business.
Patricio has been excellent for Wolves but the Midlands club are set to bring in a similar fee to the one they are paying for Sa. It means that Wolves are exchanging goalkeepers on a similar playing field, but one that is five years younger. A brilliant bit of business.
