Report: What Newcastle have told Coutinho about wages they will offer

Newcastle United have now ♊informed Philippe Coutinho that they would be prepared to offer the same term🍰s he is on at Barcelona, that a transfer to St James’ Park is now possible.

Coutinho is coming toward🦋s the end of his loan spell with Aston Villa. And there is absolutely no question that he has reminded everyone of how much of a ‘‘ he can be while with Steven Gerrard’s side.

I༺t appeared to be a no-brainer to try and make the move permanent. Sport reports that they have the option to do the deal for around £33.3 million.

However, Coutinho has not provided a goal or assist in his last four appearances in the Pre🌠🃏mier League. And with that, it would appear that the Villans are not quite as convinced about keeping him.

that Villa wꦰould like to delay the full payment for Coutinho or sign him for a lower price. And with Barca keen to offload his £224,000-a-week wages, they may have been hopeful that they would be able ღto reach a compromise.

What will not help is that Newcastle have now made it ▨clear that they are ready to part with a sizeable sum to bring𝐆 him to Tyneside.

Sport notes that the Magpies are in a position to meet his asking price. And, crucially, they have told his representatives ꧋that they wil൩l match the wages he is currently on.

Newcastle need Philippe Coutinho to change his stance to boost hopes of move

Newcastle will be play𝔉ing Premier League football next year. They have been excellent since the turn of the year. And they are all but safe.

With that, soꦫme of their targets may perhaps be a little more open to joining the club. They certainly appear to need Coutinho to experience a change of heart.

Previous reports claimed that🐽 the Brazilian is not keen to join N🎉ewcastle.

Money is surely not going to decide his next move given how frustrating his spell with Barcelona was. But it says a lot about how much the Magpies want him that thꦚey are apparently prepared to offer him the wages he is on at the Nou Camp.
