Report: What Barcelona have told Arsenal about signing Coutinho

Arsenal have until Wednesday to decide whe𓂃ther they want to sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona, that a move to the Emirates is his first-choice.

Coutinho could well end the January transfer 🌟window back in the Premier League. He, of course, has endured a hugely disappointing spell at the Nou Camp.

The Sunday People reports that both Newcastle United and Leicester City want the 29-year-old. However, Co🍸utinho has his sights set on a move to the Gunners.

Arsenal are open to taking the attacking midfielder. But Mikel Arteta would like to sign him on loan with an option ⭕to buy for an initial £5 million in the summer. They are also prepared to cover his £200,000-a-week wages.

Barca meanwhile, are ⛎looking for a £7.5 million fee this month. And with that, reports that the Catalan giants have told Arsenal that they have until Wednesday𝓡 to make a decision.

Newcastle and Leicester may feel that the door may be open if Arsenal ꩲstutter. However, the report claims that returning to Brazil would becoꦺme Coutinho’s preference.

Loan deal for Coutinho could be inspired for Arsenal, but permanent move would be a real gamble

Coutinho 🥀has been a poor signing for Barcelona. And Arsenal have been burned handing ageing players permanent deals in the last few years.

A loan de♈al however, could work out brilliantly. Signing Martin Odegaard last January has worked out incredibly well. Obviously, he earned himself a permanent 𝔉deal.

Coutinho was outstanding while in the Premier League. And if he can r🎐ecapture anything like that form, he c🐈ould be an amazing addition for the second-half of the season.

But clearly, Arsenal have work to do to compleꦆ൩te a deal.
