Report: West Ham’s Winston Reid to join Brentford on loan
West Ham United are set to loan Winston Reid out to Brentford for the rest of the season, .
Reid has been something of a forgotten man at the London Stadium. It has been almost three years since his last appearance for the Hammers.

In that time, he has come back from a long-term injury. And more recently, he spent time in Major League Soccer on loan at Sporting Kansas City.
It now appears that he is going to get the chance to leave on loan again. , Reid will join the Bees for the rest of the campaign.

It could be a fantastic move for the New Zealand international. He looks to be well down the pecking order in David Moyes’s mind.
And in Brentford, he will be joining a club that is fighting for promotion from the Championship.
They also play a fantastic brand of football, and boast a number of young players who would surely benefit from Reid’s experience.
It is not clear what Reid’s long-term future looks like with West Ham. , he is under contract until 2023.
As things stand, it is difficult to see Reid – who earns £70,000-a-week, – playing regularly for the Irons again. So perhaps a move to Brentford could provide the defender with the opportunity to stake a claim for a permanent move elsewhere.
