Report: West Ham were rejected by AC Milan star Krzysztof Piatek
are reporting that West Ham United failed with an ambitious bid to sign AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.
The article that the Polish talisman rejected an advance for the Hammers in favour of moving to a bigger club.
Piatek has been the subject of interest throughout the transfer window.
Tottenham have been probably linked the strongest of any club. reports that they are willing to offer Erik Lamela or Juan Foyth rather than pay the £25 million asking price.
Piatek has only netted four goals in 18 Serie A games this season.
His form during the 2018/19 campaign is what has drawn such intense interest, however.
He netted 30 goals in 42 games across spells with Genoa and then following his switch to Milan.

The 24-year-old Milan talisman could have been a decent signing. With the Hammers languishing near the foot of the Premier League, however, you can hardly fault Piatek’s intentions.
