Report: West Ham want Nottingham Forest’s Matty Cash
West Ham United have joined AC Milan in the race to sign Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest, .
Cash has been a revelation for Sabri Lamouchi’s men this season. The 22-year-old has scored twice and provided four assists having largely played at right-back.

His form has been one of the key reasons why Forest look perfectly poised in the Championship promotion race.
They currently sit five points off the top two with a game in hand. And they will get the chance to move within two points of Leeds United when they face Reading on Wednesday.

And it appears that Cash may be offered to make a move to the top flight this month. that West Ham are admirers of the youngster.
It remains to be seen how serious the Hammers are about attempting to lure Cash away from the City Ground this month. But it will surely be a tough task.
TBR View – Will Cash have any interest in leaving Forest?
It must be noted that Cash only signed a new contract with Forest in November (via ). And it seems unlikely that he would have been completely oblivious to interest in him at that point.
That would certainly suggest that Cash would prefer to stay put this month regardless of the offers that come in.
It should also be noted that the Irons sit in a precarious position in the Premier League table.
David Moyes’s men are one place above the bottom three. Like Forest, they have played fewer games than the teams around them. But they appear to be participants in the relegation battle.
Cash would surely not want to leave Forest for the London Stadium at this stage. It is not out of the question for the pair to switch divisions at the end of this season.
