West Ham United are seemingly on the verge of offloading Roberto, that he is set to join Alaves on loan.
Roberto has endured a nightmare spell since moving to the London Stadium in the summer. He arrived as cover for Lukasz Fabianski, but got his chance to impress in late September.

Unfortunately however, the 33-year-old’s stint between the sticks was a major disappointment. He conceded 16 goals in his first seven Premier League appearances, with a number of mistakes also occurring.
Darren Randolph has been brought in from Middlesbrough this month. And it appears that that move has opened the door for the summer signing to leave.

that the Hammers have agreed a loan deal with Alaves. It is suggested that the move will be finalised at some stage today.
TBR View – West Ham fans will be relieved to see Roberto go
It would have been a huge surprise if Roberto played for West Ham again anyway. Nevertheless, the fans will be relieved that he is set to move on.
It obviously removes the chances of the veteran playing for the club again this season.
And hopefully for the Hammers, a loan move back to Spain will open the door for a permanent sale in the summer.
It has been a poor move for all parties. But a loan exit surely sees the club move one step closer to offloading the stopper for good.
