Vlasic would be a great backup to Lingard for West Ham

His time with Everton was something of a failure.

The Croatian international made just 19 appearances at Goodison Park. However, Vlasic has since kicked on following his move to Russia.

He was the main man for the outfit, who finished in a dismal sixth place.

Despite the struggles, the 23-year-old in just 26 Premier Liga games last season.

There are not many goalscorers in the transfer market to plug a gap for David Moyes.

The need for an attacker is extremely high with the Hammers one injury away from disaster.

You have to take any opportunity you can get. And if a move for Lingard fails, it’s good to see the east Londoners have got a backup option.
