TBR View: Rudiger would be an outstanding loan signing for West Ham

It remains to be seen if West Ham step up their reported interest in the 27-year-old. But it would surely be a move that would please a lot of fans.

Rudiger – who earns £100,000-a-week, – has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea. However, The Telegraph noted that his agent is hoping to attract interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli.

Of course, that will mean little if the two clubs are not keen. But it does highlight the level of stock Rudiger has when he is being linked with those sides.

West Ham fans will largely refuse to get carried away after what has proved to be an incredibly underwhelming window thus far.

A move will surely have to be a lot further down the line before the supporters start to believe that Rudiger may end up at the London Stadium in some capacity.
