Report: West Ham retain interest in Chelsea defender Gary Cahill
West Ham are reportedly interested in snapping up Chelsea defender Gary Cahill in the summer from their London rivals.
, the 33-year-old enforcer is continuing to attract interest from the Hammers.
The 61-time capped England international has struggled for opportunities at Stamford Bridge this season and made just seven appearances, but his contract with Chelsea expires in the summer.
The previously reported that Cahill was on West Ham’s radar for the January transfer window.

TBR’s View:
Chelsea captain Cahill has fallen out of favour under Maurizio Sarri this season, but has achieved a great deal with the West London club.
The centre-back is a powerhouse that is great in the air and could add some real experience to the West Ham backline.
He’s won two Premier League titles during his time with the Blues, while also picking up silverware in the Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup.
West Ham do already have some decent options in the heart of defence with the likes of Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna and Fabian Balbuena, but none have an impressive CV quite like Chelsea.
Manuel Pellegrini is looking to build a team that can break into European football and the Chelsea outcast could be worth a gamble on a free transfer to try help achieve that.
