West Ham United have opened talks with RB Leipzig over a potential move for Hwang Hee-chan, .
It remains to be seen if the Hammers manage to sign a striker before the deadline passes. David Moyes would surely prefer to with Sebastien Haller leaving earlier this month.

Interestingly, it appears that they are open to letting the window close without an addition. that potentially signing Jesse Lingard on loan may see them shelve their desire to sign another striker.
However, that Hwang could move to the London Stadium. It is claimed that West Ham are in talks to sign the 25-year-old.

Sky Sports adds that Moyes is set to make the final decision on whether the club sign the South Korean.
Hwang has not enjoyed the best time in the Bundesliga. He is still awaiting his first top flight start and goal for the club.
That may not fill the West Ham fans with a lot of confidence. But he is a player who can play anywhere in the forward line, including through the middle.
And he has previously enjoyed success with Red Bull Salzburg. So perhaps a move for the forward could prove to be another transfer masterstroke from the Hammers if Leipzig open the door for a low-cost move.
