Report: West Ham losing race for Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic
West Ham are reportedly interested in Fulham centre-forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.
, the 24-year-old is one of the strikers that has emerged on the Hammers radar this summer.
But the report details that it’s La Liga club Real Betis that are currently favourites to sign him.
Fulham’s £24million signing () impressed last season with his form at Craven Cottage, but was unable to keep his side from suffering relegation to the Championship.
Mitrovic scored 11 Premier League goals for the struggling West London outfit and has proven he can make a decent impact in the top-flight.
The Serbia international has an eye-catching record of 25 goals in his 48 senior caps.

TBR’s View:
West Ham are in pursuit of a new striker for next season and Mitrovic could be a decent fit at the London Stadium.
He’s a powerhouse that can lead the line well by himself and has the strength to bully defenders, making him an ideal fit for English football.
There is every chance he could become more prolific with better players around him and it will be intriguing to throw him into Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
But it seems like there is plenty of work for West Ham to do if they want to beat Spanish club Real Betis to his signature.
Mitrovic is certainly too good to down to the Championship once again and needs a move this summer.
