Report: West Ham interested in AC Milan winger Hakan Calhanoglu
West Ham are reportedly interested in AC Milan winger Hakan Calhanoglu ahead of the summer transfer window.
, the Hammers and Premier League rivals Leicester City are both keen on the 25-year-old.
The report details that he’s open to a switch to England and that he is valued around £26million.
Calhanoglu is currently plying his trade in Italy with Milan, where he’s bee a regular in their side and racked up 40 appearances across all competitions this season.
He usually operates from a wide role out left and is a playmaker that has weighed in with 13 assists this campaign.
The Turkey international is decent from set-pieces, has a good turn of pace and should soon be entering the peak years of his career.

TBR’s View:
Calhanoglu is a promising attacker that has proved himself in the Italian top flight and it would be an exciting capture if West Ham added him to their squad next season.
He would already have a familiar face in the team if he did join the Hammers, as he is an ex-teammate of Javier Hernandez.
The attacking duo previously played in the same team for two seasons at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, where they managed to strike up a good understanding.
Centre-forward Hernandez scored 26 goals in all competitions during the 2015/16 campaign with Leverkusen, while winger Calhanoglu was directly involved in 19 goals during the same season.
There is already some serious competition for places out wide in Pellegrini’s squad, but perhaps Calhanoglu could help get the best out of Hernandez.
